The therapy of ADT
The therapy of ADT
When prostate cancer progresses, men may receive androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) treatment. ADT is a treatment that suppresses or blocks the production or action of male hormones called androgens. While ADT is often e ective, prostate cancer adapts and the patient’s prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels begin to rise. This could be one indicator that the cancer may be progressing.
